RARE PAINT APPLICATION PROCESS
Allow 2–4 hours for the primer coat to fully dry
Use a paint sprayer to apply one even topcoat layer with a dry film thickness of 60–90 µm.
Use a rust-removing machine or a specialized grinder fitted with an appropriate grinding disc or wire brush to thoroughly remove rust, peeling paint, and contaminants.
Use a brush to remove dust, metal particles, and contaminants after rust removal
Use a specialized blower to remove dust and water from gaps and joints, ensuring the surface is completely clean.
Check visually and by touch: no rust, metal particles, grease, or dirt remaining
If any area does not meet the requirements, it must be cleaned and treated again
Wait until the surface is completely dry before proceeding to the next step
Mix the surface treatment agent at a ratio of A:B = 4:1 and stir well before use
Pot life of the mixture: within 4 hours after mixing.
Application: brush or spray a thin layer to ensure full coverage of the entire metal surface, including gaps and joints
Drying time: approximately 4 hours, and proceed with primer application on the same day.
Spray 1–2 coats of anti-corrosion primer depending on the roof structure
Dry film thickness: approximately 60–80 µm
Spray 2 coats of RARE topcoat according to technical standards.
Dry film thickness: approximately 130 – 150 µm.
