REflection: reflects heat
Outdoor surfaces heat up due to solar energy absorption. RARE Cooling Paint reflects 95% of solar energy from the visible spectrum of 0.3µm to the thermal infrared spectrum of 3µm across the entire solar spectrum.
RAdiation: heat radiation
The SkyActive nano particles radiate 98% of heat in the transparent range of the atmosphere, in the wavelength range of 8-14 µm, helping outdoor surfaces stay cooler than surroundings. Even on sunny days, RARE paint can achieve temperatures similar to the air temperature in the shade, resembling conditions under a tree canopy.
